Between Science and Art
The Third Cohort of the "Artist on Campus" Program at the Technion Begins
Amir Yatziv, Shay Arick, and Tehila Hakimi are the newest artists in the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology’s “Artist on Campus” program. This unique initiative supports artists whose work involves research and experimentation, integrating the humanities, sciences, technology, and engineering to foster dialogue at the intersection of these fields.
The program was launched by Technion President Prof. Uri Sivan with the generous support of Ms. Sonia Marschak and is managed by the Department of Humanities and Arts. Participating artists engage with the Technion community, teach a course in their field of expertise, create and perform across campus, and collaborate with faculty and students on joint research projects. Amir Yatziv is a filmmaker and visual artist, Shay Arick is a multidisciplinary artist, Tehila Hakimi is a writer and poet.
Previous program participants include Nardeen Srouji, Dr. Orit Wolf, Dr. Elad Shniderman, Dr. Maayan Tsadka, and Maayan Elyakim.
