The Technion Community

The picturesque Technion campus is located on the slopes of Mount Carmel, overlooking the unique landscape of the city of Haifa. The campus serves as an academic and social meeting place for a diverse, pluralistic, curious and inclusive community.

On the Technion’s campus, you can enjoy a vibrant social life and a rich schedule of events and activities. There are always plenty of opportunities to be creative and develop your skills and interests – whether in the advanced laboratories, modern research institutes, and well-equipped classrooms; or in the expansive sports center, impressive event halls, and bustling cultural and recreational facilities.

A tour of the campus will lead you to well-maintained parks, lush gardens, monuments, environmental sculptures, and well-known sites, alongside breathtaking viewpoints, modern architectural gems, historical heritage points, and hidden relaxation spots. The campus encompasses a unique blend of old and new, urbanity and nature, creating an inviting atmosphere for all those who enter the Technion’s gates.

In addition, the Technion’s dormitories provide a variety of excellent housing solutions that offer topnotch convenience and comfort to over 5,000 residents who have made the green campus their home.

We invite you to experience the campus and enjoy the wealth of opportunities to forge social and professional connections, as well as the chance to create life-long memories.

Dormitories – A Great Place to Live

For about 5,000 students, the Technion is not just a second home but their first home. Approximately one-third of the students studying at the Technion live in the campus dormitories. The dorms are spread throughout the internal campus pathways, combining modern architecture with enchanting nature, and creating a kibbutz-like atmosphere in the heart of the city. The dormitory staff provides a comprehensive range of housing services to residents.
