The Technion Community

The picturesque Technion campus is located on the slopes of Mount Carmel, overlooking the unique landscape of the city of Haifa. The campus serves as an academic and social meeting place for a diverse, pluralistic, curious and inclusive community.

On the Technion’s campus, you can enjoy a vibrant social life and a rich schedule of events and activities. Dormitories – A Great Place to Live

For about 5,000 students, the Technion is not just a second home but their first home. Approximately one-third of the students studying at the Technion live in the campus dormitories. The dorms are spread throughout the internal campus pathways, combining modern architecture with enchanting nature, and creating a kibbutz-like atmosphere in the heart of the city. The dormitory staff provides a comprehensive range of housing services to residents.

The Central Library – Where Everything Is Read

Here, you can find a wide selection of professional literature, academic texts, and fiction. The library features quiet areas for studying and reading. If you wish to participate in this rich cultural life, you are welcome to join the Technion orchestra, choir, or theater, which perform in diverse genres for the enjoyment of the Technion community and local residents.
