The Technion is Proud to Present: Arts, Science and Technology Week

Next week, June 21–25, 2026, the campus will host a series of events that are open to the public

The Technion is proud to present a unique meeting point between imagination and intellect, between artistic experimentation and scientific research, and between technological challenges and artistic and aesthetic ones.

Arts, Science and Technology Week will offer the Technion community and the general public an intensive artistic and intellectual experience, bringing together leading artists and top researchers from the Technion and beyond. As part of this week, the Technion will host artists and cultural figures, including author Etgar Keret, poet and author Ronny Someck, director and screenwriter Ari Folman, choreographer and dancer Yasmeen Godder, and many others. The program will feature performances, workshops, a scientific-artistic conference, meetings between artists and the Technion community and the general public, and more. The many performances and workshops across all fields of the arts will enable the Technion community to cultivate their creative abilities and will be open to the public.

Throughout the week, visiting artists will meet with faculty members, researchers, and students from all faculties, creating together an experimental space that emphasizes curiosity, boundary-crossing, and creative thinking.

As part of an Entrepreneurship Day held earlier this month, artists, researchers, and industry professionals gathered for a music-tech panel exploring the connections between music, technology, and innovation. The event also included a student competition with cash prizes and showcased innovative student projects at the intersection of art and technology. The winning teams will present their developments at a one-of-a-kind conference taking place next week at the Technion, bringing together leading artists and researchers to explore the intersection of scientific and artistic modes of thinking.

Arts, Science and Technology Week is a clear example of the Technion as an institution with a strong humanistic, cultural, artistic, and community-oriented outlook, and as a pioneer in bridging different fields of knowledge. This festival event offers a fresh perspective on the role of art at the heart of a leading scientific and technological institution, as a driving force for inspiration, dialogue, and innovation.
