Tedx Technion 2025

TEDxTechnion 2025 took place on November 11, 2025, at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa. The independently organized event, licensed by TED, featured live TED-style talks held under the theme “Unexpected Innovation.”

Launched in 2009, TEDx is a program of locally organized events designed to bring communities together and share a TED-like experience. Over the years, some of the most compelling TEDx talks have been featured on TED.com and have garnered millions of views worldwide.

TEDxTechnion 2025 spotlighted trailblazing ideas from Israel’s innovation ecosystem and included 12 stage talks delivered to a curated audience of founders, researchers, and operators. With a limited number of seats, the event emphasized depth and fostered meaningful networking among participants.

“Everything becomes possible when we dare to see the world differently. True progress arises from the fusion of curiosity, courage, knowledge, and imagination. Embracing unexpected innovation is no longer a luxury — it is a necessity,” said Prof. Yuval Garini, Technion Executive Vice President for Innovation and Industry Relations. “By challenging conventions and exploring the unknown, cutting-edge research opens new paths to understanding nature, improving lives, and shaping a better future. This year’s event brought together pioneers who dare to discover, challenge, and transform the way the future is shaped.”
