History of the Technion Logo

The Technion logo, as recognized worldwide today , was first formally introduced on an Israeli postage stamp issued in 1956. The stamp was to celebrate thirty years since Technion opened its doors.

The logo was the winning submission of a competition held in 1951, in which more than twenty proposals were presented to the committee by architects , engineers , artists , tailors and ordinary people .
