The Board of Governors is the supreme authority of the Technion. It numbers some 360 high-profile Technion supporters, including public figures with outstanding achievements in the fields of science, technology, economy, industry, culture and society.
Overseas and local Board members include philanthropists, industrialists, academics and Jewish community leaders. Local members also include Technion office holders and representatives from academic faculty, professional unions, alumni, industry and the student community.
The Board of Governors usually convenes once a year in June.
Mr. Scott Leemaster was appointed Chairman of the Board of Governors in June, 2019.
