ASAT Gives a Hand

The Technion Students Association (ASAT) has distributed more than 150 meals to soldiers at the various bases in recent days, through dozens of volunteers. According to student Michal Zeevi, “the Student Union Building receives many food products, as well as other items donated by various bodies, including the businesses active in the Student Union Building. Students also assist in transportation; some have travelled yesterday with the food and the other equipment as far as the Hermon bases.”

“People who brought in donations staid to help with sorting and arrangement, and so a large group of volunteers was formed,” says student Noa Gaon. “Everything is collected in the Student Union Building, sorted, and sent to the bases with students, some of them called up themselves, and collecting the items on their way to their base.”
