Eyal Dassau

Eyal received his B.Sc. degree in 2000, and his M. Sc. degree in 2002 and his Ph.D. in 2006, all from the Chemical Engineering Faculty at the Technion. His specific interest is integrating process design and control especially in Bioprocesses. In his Ph.D., Eyal developed the PSE concept for yield enhancement in bioprocessing using integrated design and control with six-sigma and optimization-based root cause analysis. Both of these contributions have potential for substantial impact in the bio-tech industry, through improved overall process yield, quality and return on investment.
As part of his M.Sc. degree,
he worked on the modelling and control of RTP. His work involved the
detailed modeling of an RTP reactor, and the design and testing of
alternative control approaches, including simple PID control, adaptive
strategies and multivariable control. This research was in cooperation
with Steag CVD Systems, a manufacturer of process equipment for RTP CVD,
and was funded by the 0.25-micron Consortium. Eyal is also the system
manager of the PSE Multimedia Team. |
