Prof. Yeshayahu* (Ishi) Talmon

Graduate of the Technion in Chemical Engineering: B.Sc. (1969) and M.Sc. (1975). Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 1979. Research work there was under the supervision of Skip Scriven, Ted Davis and Steve Prager, and in collaboration with Ned Thomas and Wilmer Miller, started an ongoing interest in nanostructured liquids. Faculty member in Chemical Engineering, Technion, since 1979, Professor since 1991 and the Department Chairman 2000-2005. Also head the Technion Project on Complex Fluids, Microstructure and Macromolecules since 1997. Wolfson Professor in Chemical Engineering since 2001.
