Ethical Behavior

During my senior year at U of M I was looking to enrich my research experience. I found a position working as an RA for then graduate student Wendy Treynor. Wendy, who worked for Professor Rich Gonzalez, not only exposed me to social psychological research but also helped me form further connections with other researchers.

Dr. Treynor showed me the behind the scenes of research. I helped her prepare for experiments, complete the necessary paper work, schedule and experiments, code data and more.

Her research focused on links between sinister and unethical behavior. She designed a number of experiments to investigate these connections.

I valued my time with Wendy who became a dear friend. I cherish our talks about psychology, research, graduate school, academia and everyday life. My experience working for Wendy as an RA helped me solidify my decision to go on to graduate school.
