The Faculty offers four distinct programs leading to a Bachelor
degree: - A four-year undergraduate program leading to a Bachelor
of Science in Civil Engineering The first of the four programs is the main program.
Here students are required to take two complete specialty strings of courses that are offered
in the following areas: structural engineering,
hydraulic engineering, environmental engineering, geotechnology,
building materials and performance, construction management, transportation and
geodesy. The courses cover virtually every aspect of Civil Engineering.
Graduates function as Registered and later licenced Civil Engineers.
- A four-year undergraduate study program, leading
to a Bachelor of Science in Geodetic Engineering. Graduates of this program
can function as Licenced Geodetic Engineers.
- A three-year undergraduate
study program, leading to a Bachelor of Arts in Geodetic Sciences.
- A four-year undergraduate study program, leading to a Bachelor of Environmental
Engineering. This degree is offered in cooperation with the Departments
of Chemical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering and Food and Biotechnology.
