The major task of Agricultural
Engineering is to apply technological and engineering tools to increase the agricultural
production and efficiency, improve product quality, while preserving the quality of the
environment.
Israel, where high technology agriculture is practiced under conditions of limited water
supply, develops and exports new varieties of agricultural products, agriculture-related
industrial products and systems, and advanced know-how.
