The Lady Davis Fellowship Trust provides awards for study, research, or teaching on graduate, post-doctoral, or professorial levels at the Technion (and the Hebrew University). The Department of Agricultural Engineering encourages candidates to apply. Please read the following and contact our dean for more information (check the list of the faculty members for an address).

Fellowships are tenable for periods of 9 to 12 months. Extension of the fellowship for a second year requires approval of the Lady Davis Academic Committee. In special cases, the committee may extend a fellowship for a third year. The terms of the fellowship include travel costs, tuition fees (where applicable) and a monthly stipend.

Lady Davis Visiting Professorships are intended for candidates with the rank of Full or Associate Professor at their own institutions. Appointments range from one semester to a full academic year. The award includes travel costs, a professorial salary, and a modest housing allowance.

The Lady Davis Fellowship Trust application deadline is November 30 of each year for the ensuing academic year. However, since the department of Agricultural Engineering selects its own candidates and handles the application procedure, candidates are asked to contact the dean of the faculty before September 15th (check the list of the faculty members for an address).
