Board of Governors

The Board of Governors is the supreme authority of the Technion. It numbers some 300 high-profile visionaries and decision makers, including public figures with outstanding achievements in the fields of science, technology, economy, industry, culture and society.

Overseas Board members include philanthropists, industrialists, academics and Jewish community leaders. Local members include Technion office holders and representatives from academic faculty, professional unions, alumni, government, industry and the student community.

The Board of Governors usually convenes once a year in June.
